Production Twin

Production Twin is a Max-only deploy workflow at /dashboard/production-twin. It runs an approved Journey Canary against production to establish a baseline, then runs the same steps against an HTTPS preview.

Configure a twin

Choose an app, an enabled Journey Canary, and the preview deployment URL. The preview host is added only to that run's approved host boundary; private network targets and non-HTTPS URLs are rejected.

Capture a baseline

Select Capture baseline while production is known-good. PreFlight records step outcomes, duration, safe errors, screenshot digests, and video availability without storing input values or secrets in the comparison record.

Compare a preview

Select Compare preview. A preview is blocked when it introduces a new failed step. It receives a warning when visual evidence changes or runtime is more than 25 percent slower. Unknown or missing baseline evidence is never reported as a clean comparison.

Usage and durability

Twin executions consume the existing Journey-minute allowance. Runs are leased durable jobs with bounded retries and dead-letter behavior, so closing the browser does not cancel the comparison.
